How it works

What the child does, what the parent sets

Dibou works without needing to read. Parents set everything up in a space protected by Face ID or the iPad passcode.

The steps

Start right away

The big sheet on the home screen opens the studio with one tap. The latest creation picks up with one gesture.

  • Finger and Apple Pencil
  • Automatic saving
  • Left-handed mode

Activities for every age

Coloring pages, step-by-step drawings, paths to trace, a blot to transform, cards, comics, pixel art. Only installed content is visible.

  • 8 worlds
  • Optional family challenges

Give by sliding

The child slides the drawing onto an authorized loved one’s photo, or taps it. Dibou confirms “For Grandma” and offers a voice message and an envelope.

  • Tap alternative
  • Protection against duplicates

A gallery of memories

Drawings in progress, given, favorites, albums, sped-up replay of the creation, slideshow, 30-day trash.

  • Yearly album
  • Export reserved for parents

Parents stay in control

Each child’s level, visible tools, authorized loved ones, channels, breaks, sounds, backup and shop, in a protected space.

  • Several children
  • Several households

Two ways to send

  • Dibou family sharing

The child’s gesture sends the drawing to the family’s private space. Read receipts, plus voice and drawn replies from loved ones.

  • Messages

Dibou prepares the image and the recipient; the child confirms in Messages. Replies arrive in Messages, not in Dibou.
